History of Our Property
We would like to share what led us to becoming hosts. We purchased the property in 2020. Our dream was to move to the country. The property needed some major and extensive cleanup. After the cleanup was finished, we began the search for our dream home. Unfortunately, it seemed as if it wasn’t meant to be, we kept running into roadblock after roadblock. After researching, we discovered the HipCamp site. With a leap of faith, we launched the primitive camp site on September 30th, 2020. ONLY 1 day later we received our first booking! ONE DAY! After months of ideas and plans falling through, we finally reached success. We knew right then that this is what God intended for us to do. We were to give it back to Him and allow others to experience the beautiful surroundings of HIS creations!

The property needed MAJOR cleanup. In May of 2020 we had Triple R Construction do the work! They tore down the old chicken coop, cut down old trees, cleaned up the dry creek, and smoothed everything out. Here are some pics of the process:

On Aug. 13, 2021 we started the cabin project and poured our cement pillars! Check out the pics:
We poured 16 concrete pillars for our cabin foundation. We wrote scriptures on each pillar and as soon as the scriptures were complete a thunderstorm rolled in and it started raining! Enjoy the video!
